For the Beef
- 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Bowls
- 6 cups shredded iceberg or romaine lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup diced onion
- 1 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Big Mac-Style Sauce
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp light mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp pickle relish
- 1 tsp pickle juice
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
Instructions
- Cook the beef: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it into small crumbles.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 6–8 minutes, until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Make the sauce: Whisk Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, pickle juice, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth and creamy.
- Build the bowls: Divide shredded lettuce among four bowls.
- Add the warm seasoned beef and immediately sprinkle with cheddar so it melts slightly.
- Top with tomatoes, onion, and plenty of sliced pickles.
- Drizzle generously with the Big Mac-style sauce.
- Finish with a few extra pickles and a sprinkle of sesame seeds, if desired.
