No-Bake Layered Banana Pudding Biscuit Bar
Prep Time: 20 mins | Chill Time: 4 hours | Servings: 8–10
Ingredients
-
4 medium ripe bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
-
1 to 1.5 packs butter biscuits or graham crackers (square or rectangular)
-
3 cups whole milk
-
2 packets (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix (or banana cream pudding mix)
-
1 cup heavy whipping cream (or whipped topping)
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Prepare the Base Layer: Line the bottom of an 8×11-inch or 9×13-inch baking dish evenly with a single layer of butter biscuits.
-
Add the Banana Layer: Arrange the halved bananas side-by-side in a single layer over the remaining open area of the dish.
-
Make the Custard Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, instant pudding mix, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract for 2–3 minutes until thick and smooth.
-
Pour & Layer: Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the biscuits and bananas, smoothing the top with a spatula.
-
Top Layer: Place a second neat layer of butter biscuits directly over the pudding mixture to cover it completely.
-
Chill & Set: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) so the pudding sets firm and the biscuits soften to a cake-like texture.
-
Slice & Serve: Slice into clean, rectangular squares using a sharp knife and serve chilled.
