Ingredients
2 large cucumbers
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
½ teaspoon chili powder or red pepper flakes
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon chaat masala, optional
1 small green chili, finely chopped, optional
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
½ teaspoon dried mint or 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
½ teaspoon garlic powder, optional
A pinch of cayenne pepper, optional, for extra heat
1. Prepare the Cucumbers
Wash the cucumbers thoroughly. Slice them into thin rounds, half-moons, or bite-sized chunks.
2. Make the “Bang” Seasoning
In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, salt, roasted cumin powder, chili powder, black pepper, chaat masala, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper if using.
3. Add Fresh Flavor
Mix in the chopped cilantro, mint, and green chili.
4. Toss
Add the cucumber pieces to a large bowl. Pour the seasoning mixture over them and toss well until every piece is coated.
5. Rest
Let the cucumbers sit for 5–10 minutes so the flavors can soak in.
6. Serve
Give everything one final toss and serve immediately while the cucumbers are crisp and refreshing.
