Homemade Rosemary Powder
Ingredients:
- Fresh rosemary sprigs
Instructions:
- Wash the rosemary sprigs and pat them completely dry.
- Remove any thick stems and spread the rosemary leaves in a single layer.
- Air-dry: Leave them in a dry, well-ventilated place for several days until completely crisp.
OR
Oven-dry: Place on a baking tray and dry at 170°F (75°C) for about 1–2 hours, checking regularly. - Once the leaves are completely dry and brittle, let them cool.
- Grind the dried rosemary in a spice grinder or blender until you get a fine powder.
- Sift if you want an extra-fine texture.
- Store in a clean, completely dry airtight jar away from heat and sunlight.
✨ How to use it:
Add a small pinch to roasted potatoes, chicken, beef, soups, eggs, vegetables, marinades, or homemade bread.
💚 Tip: Make sure the rosemary is completely dry before storing it. Any remaining moisture can cause the powder to spoil.
