🌿 Homemade Rosemary Powder

Homemade Rosemary Powder

Ingredients:

  • Fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions:

  1. Wash the rosemary sprigs and pat them completely dry.
  2. Remove any thick stems and spread the rosemary leaves in a single layer.
  3. Air-dry: Leave them in a dry, well-ventilated place for several days until completely crisp.
    OR
Oven-dry: Place on a baking tray and dry at 170°F (75°C) for about 1–2 hours, checking regularly.
  4. Once the leaves are completely dry and brittle, let them cool.
  5. Grind the dried rosemary in a spice grinder or blender until you get a fine powder.
  6. Sift if you want an extra-fine texture.
  7. Store in a clean, completely dry airtight jar away from heat and sunlight.

How to use it:
Add a small pinch to roasted potatoes, chicken, beef, soups, eggs, vegetables, marinades, or homemade bread.

💚 Tip: Make sure the rosemary is completely dry before storing it. Any remaining moisture can cause the powder to spoil.

A little goes a long way! 🌿
